Washington Dance Studio’s Senior Company (10th - 12th grade dancers)

WDS Senior Company gives serious dancers with a high skill level an opportunity for public performance, competition, and a challenging class environment to continue furthering their skills. The dancers enjoy performing for the community at venues that include McCain Auditorium, Manhattan Town Center, Meadowlark Retirement Community, and other local events including our community's hosting of the Straight Up Beautiful conference. They are featured at our annual Holiday Dance Clinic Performance and at both of our Spring Recitals. The group also travels to participate in various conventions and regional competitions. These have included Starpower, Danceamerica, Tremaine, West Coast Dance Explosion, L.A. Dance Magic, and Dupree Dance Expo. Senior Company has been awarded a variety of awards including several first place, high-gold ratings, “Best Overall Performance” at L.A. Dance Magic and second overall with their "Cancan" production piece at Danceamerica regional competition.
