Payment, Dance Studio Etiquette, Privacy and Copyright

Payment Policy

Fees are due the FIRST CLASS of the month, September thru April. Tuition is divided evenly within our eight-month calendar year; therefore, tuition remains constant regardless of attendance or holidays! No monthly statements will be sent unless there is a special billing or a past due account. IF YOUR ACCOUNT IS 60 DAYS OVERDUE, A $5 LATE FEE WILL BE ASSESSED EACH MONTH UNTIL BALANCE IS PAID!

Dance Studio Etiquette Policy

Appropriate Attire – NO ATHLETIC SHORTS, NO BAGGY T-SHIRTS and HAIR MUST BE PULLED BACK OUT OF FACE!

Ballet - Pink ballet shoes, solid-color leotard and tights. Skirts are optional.
Jazz and Rhythms - Leotard and tights. Boy shorts, skirts, or skorts are optional Black jazz oxfords.
Tap - same as jazz only black tap shoes.
Lyrical – Leotard and footless tights. Foot Undeez.
Modern – Leotard and footless tights. Barefoot.

Attendance - Students are expected to attend classes regularly and on time.
Second Semester - Students missing two consecutive classes will need to take a private lesson ($10 for 30 min) to learn recital dance combinations missed.
Conduct - Students are asked to be polite and courteous to each other and the teachers. Disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. No gum, food or beverages are allowed in the studio.
Cancellation of classes - If schools close because of bad weather or an emergency, the studio will automatically close.

Privacy Policy

Any information shared with Washington Dance Studio is under certain privacy provisions. Information shared with Washington Dance Studio will be handled by our organization and not shared, sold, or reproduced. Washington Dance Studio will send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when:

• We need to share your information to provide the product or service you have requested;
• We need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of Washington Dance Studio to provide a product or service to you. (Unless we tell you differently, these companies do not have any right to use the personally identifiable information we provide to them beyond what is necessary to assist us.);
• To fulfill your requests for certain products and services;
• We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process.
